A man from Austin, Texas captured this stunning video of a wolf spider removing carpet fibers tangled from its legs.

This man said he did this procedure several times to help other wolf spiders roam his house (yes, this large spider is not a pet), but every time he tells someone that no one believes him. And this time, he decided to photograph it.

Surprisingly, the spider seems to know that the man is trying to help him. See how the spider lifts its legs as if they are working together rather than running away.

“It’s like holding my hand,” says the man, who removes the lint with a knife and a fine ruler.

I don’t think I would have had the guts to do it myself, but it’s amazing to see!
