Every daddy’s girl dreams of one day having her father walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. Many times these dreams are shattered, causing a painful moment on a very special day.

Leading up to her wedding day, bride-to-be Jennifer Urs Sullivan was dreading walking down the aisle without her father, who had suddenly passed away days before the wedding. On her special day, guests were sad that Jennifer would walk alone, but as soon as she got down the stairs something AMAZING happened. Since no one could replace her father, Jennifer decided that there was only one fitting tribute for the first man she loved.

Cue the University of Miami’s mascot, Sebastian, in a Hurricane’s jersey with dad’s nickname on the back. Guests stood and cheered, knowing that this was her father’s favorite school team and he was the perfect stand-in.
