At eighty, people seldom walk up to a doctor’s clinic, leave alone walking up to the stage of a talent show. Things however took a de-tour from the traditional route for the reality show, Britain’s Got Talent, when Paddy, an elderly woman just three months shy of eighty clubbed up with her partner Nico for a salsa performance.

While things did not seem easy for Paddy as audience jeered and the judges were sceptical of her act, she did not let her spirits down. What happened eventually was a sight to behold as Paddy broke all the norms and renditions ever laid by a salsa performer on stage to set up a benchmark of her own. Defying her age, she flipped, twirled, dipped and tugged following up with acrobatic moves that left everyone gasped for breath of air!
