In April 2015, an ambulance took a pregnant young woman to a hospital in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. Doctors, expecting nothing out of the ordinary, didn’t know yet that they were dealing with a unique case.

After the consultation, the doctors were puzzled: The woman was seven months pregnant, but something pushed her baby out.

The mystery was quickly solved: Elena Sedova, 25, was expecting triplets. Two of them were located in the upper part of the uterus and the other in the lower part. At their own risk, the girls pushed out above their sister. Elena has been feeling a strange movement in her stomach for the past few days, but she hopes the contractions don’t start prematurely.

But alas, little Likeria appeared in the world in the seventh month of pregnancy. She was very small and visibly weak, weighing only 950 grams. The girl was immediately placed in an incubator and doctors prepared for the birth of more babies. But suddenly, to everyone’s surprise, Elena’s contractions stopped.

The doctors had to make a difficult decision. If the twins appear between them for a long period of time, labor is usually artificially stimulated within an hour. But this time, the specialists had doubts: the other two girls were younger than their sister. You just can’t survive. But given the circumstances, the doctors decided to wait.

In 38 days, when little Likeria gained weight to 1.5 kilograms, Elena felt severe weakness and fear. The doctors consulted her and decided it was time to give birth. On the same day, two healthy and beautiful little girls appeared in the world – Zlata and Stefania. Finally Elena could hug her three children.
