Danielle Davis found out shortly after the wedding that her husband had an accident and went into a coma.

The doctors did not give him a chance to survive and wanted to disconnect him from the devices, but the only one who believed that he would open his eyes at some point was his devoted wife, Danielle.

The 22-year-old woman was blocked by emotion when, one day, Matt, her husband, opened his eyes after 3 years in a coma. He said, “I’m trying,” were his first words when Danielle tried to make him move his hand.

“It was the best thing I’ve ever heard,” she said.

Matt is still in the process of recovering.
