Following the revelation of his cancer in January, King Charles has resumed at least some of his royal duties. The recently crowned queen has been receiving treatment at the royal estate of Sandringham for a considerable amount of time.
Even so, it’s likely that the majority of his energy has been focused on his recuperation, but he might have also been thinking about the ongoing conflict between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s families.

Even if he hasn’t reconciled with the Sussexes, he is apparently making a lot of effort to attempt to patch things up now more than ever. That’s more likely due to his wish to be closer to his US-based grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, than a strong desire to mend fences with Harry and Meghan.
A royal specialist has now asserted that the monarch is a “workaholic” who is aware that his reign is coming to an end, despite the fact that his closest relatives are undoubtedly helping him throughout his recuperation. In light of this, Queen Camilla’s most recent disclosure regarding King Charles’ health takes on a far more grave significance.

Even by his own standards, King Charles’ reign has gotten off to a rough start. The monarchy has experienced numerous difficulties since assuming power following the late Queen Elizabeth II, including concerns about its place in contemporary society and personal matters.
Charles and William have reportedly held “lengthy discussions” about depriving Harry and Meghan of their official titles, if Quinn is to be believed. Quinn did clarify, though, that there is a significant danger involved in doing so. Quinn told the Mirror, “They are afraid that this will backfire and worsen the situation.” “They don’t want to give the rebellious royals any more reason to whine.” William and his father are aware that Meghan and Harry will continue to tour the world as royalty even in the absence of their royal titles, and that the majority of people will still accept them.
In King Charles’ absence, Queen Camilla has assumed a great deal of responsibility and has represented him on numerous royal engagements. Now that he has resumed certain royal duties, the King made an appearance last week in Portsmouth and Normandie to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Charles’s advanced age, recent cancer diagnosis, plus the generally stressful nature of his work would make it wise for him to take things slowly. But it doesn’t seem to be the case at all. A fresh update on the king’s condition was provided by Queen Camilla last week, stating that he defies the recommendation to shift through the gears gradually.

Speaking on Saturday at the second annual Queen’s Reading Room Literary Festival at Hampton Court Palace, Camilla stated Prince Charles is “doing fine except he won’t slow down and won’t do what he’s told,” according to novelist Lee Child.
It “sounds to me like a typical husband,” the child continued.
